What shall I do with my hair?!

I'm having a problem. My hair is horrible. It's in terrible condition from me bleaching and dying it. I'm going to sixth form in September and I feel my hair needs a change. Here are some photos of my previous hair styles... (some of these photos are really old by the way).

My natural hair colour... I think. This photo was taken about 3-4 years ago.

Next was my bleaching stage. Well, this killed my hair. Originally the underneath of my hair was black but then faded to brown. At the time I loved it, looking back I think it looks horrible on me!

Then I went red. The photo doesn't show how red I really was. It was like a rich red colour but in the light it looked bright red. The colour was beautiful but I didn't keep dying it as I knew i'd be going to sixth form and the sixth form i'm going to doesn't allow extreme hair styles/colours.

The most recent photo of me. Please excuse the makeup, was playing about recreating the Geordie Shore look for a laugh. As you can see my hair is not red anymore but has slight reddish tones. I haven't dyed my hair at all since I went red so the colour I have now is a mixture of faded red and platinum blonde.

Also, my hairstyle has stayed pretty consitent through the years. I have fine hair and hardly any of it. It's also naturally straight, so getting volume in my hair is a bit of a pain. It's also damaged from me bleaching my hair for a year.

What do you guys think? What should I do with my mop. As I already said, the sixth form I will be attending in September doesnt allow extreme hair styles or colours. Im stuck in hair hell!

Thank you for reading :)

P.S sorry for my lack of posts, I have more posts planned for the next few days!

MAC Haul :)

So, yesterday I went to my local MAC counter and had a bit of a splurge. MAC is expensive but worth it. You pay more for a better product (generally), better packaging (usually) and better costumer service (hopefully). Don't get me wrong, I love a bargain but I also love the high end make up because I feel you generally get what you pay for. And anyway, Nars is more expensive that MAC... (i'm making excuses to try and make myself feel better about my devilish shopping spree). Enough with my ramblings, this is what I got :)

First off I brought 4 new eyeshadow pans and a quad palette.

Top row L-R: Vanilla, Omega.
Bottom row L-R Soba, Espresso.
Each eyeshadow was £9.50 and the palette was £6.50.

I chose these colours so I can create natural, subtle eyes for sixth form. Omega on the lid, Soba in the crease, Espresso in the outer corner & in the brows and Vanilla in the inner corner and on the brow bone as a highlight.

L-R Vanilla, Omega, Soba, Espresso.

I also got Hue lipstick and Love Nectar lustreglass.

Hue is a pretty soft pale pinkish colour, It's a glaze finish which means it is very sheer. It was £13.50 which really isnt a bad price for a high end lipstick.

L-R Hue lipstick, Love Nectar lustreglass.

Love Nectar is a soft apricot pink with gold flecks in it. It is such a beautiful colour and looks gorgeous over Hue lipstick, It cost me £12.50.

The applicator is a small brush, It works well for precise application.

Finally, I got the 217 brush. This is by far the best blending brush I own, It's fluffy but quite flat so it sits nicely in the crease. Works wonders with creating a cut crease look :)

It cost me £15.00.

I hope you like my haul, thank you for reading :)

Free benefit products with Glamour magazine!

Glamour magazine are giving away a selection of three sample size benefit products with every magazine this month! Each mag either contains bene tint, posie tint or high beam. I went on a mission to find any that were left, I managed to grab one of each. The packaging's a little damaged but that didn't bother me! As you can see, each mag is worth £2, I don't think that's bad for a magazine with a high end sample size beauty product included! The only downside, to get all three you have to buy the same magazine three times. But oh well, I'm sure mums, sisters or friends wouldn't mind a free magazine!

Highbeam luminescent complexion enhancer
Full size price - £18.50

Benetint rose tinted lip and cheek stain
Full size price - £24.50

Posietint poppy pink tinter lip and cheek stain
Full size price - £24.50

In this photo I have mixed posietint and benetint for my lip colour, I used posietint on my cheeks and I used highbeam to highlight my cheek bones :)

So go and check your newsagents to see if theres any left!

Thank you for reading!

Jewellery i'm loving right now...

Okay, i'm a jewellery lover. I love rings and dangly earrings especially.

One of my favourite jewellery shops is http://www.dollybowbow.co.uk/.

The owner of the shop, Kate has a youtube channel. She has the cutest style and her jewellery is just divine!

This cute bracelet is only £6.00! It'll look nice layered up with more bracelets. :)

This ring is super sweet and unique, it'd look good with a band tee, some denim distressed shorts and biker boots. It's also £.6.00, bargain!

Cross rings are bang on trend right now and I really love them. They're so funky and at only £6.00 a pop they aren't badly priced either!

Lastly from Dolly Bow Bow, there is this feather ring. I'm really loving feather designs at the moment :) This ring is £5.00!

Another one of my favourite jewellery shops is http://www.talullahtu.com/home

Talullah Tu sells very well made, beautiful jewellery. Tanya Burr A.K.A pixi2woo has a collection with Talullah Tu and the jewellery is simply stunning.

These earrings are soooo gorgeous! Words cannot describe how lovely they are. At £24.00, they're not cheap but they aren't exceedingly expensive and really, who cares. They're beautiful!

This bracelet is very pretty, would look lovely with anything! It's £25.00 :)

Next is a adorable ring from another online shop, http://giftgirls.bigcartel.com/

This cute little octopus ring is another bargain at just £6.00!

Lastly for a shop on the high street instead of an online store! http://www.riverisland.com/Online/

I love snake designs on rings at the moment, they're gorgeous and this ring is not exception. At £12.99 it comes in the middle of the price range.

As you can see from the jewellery, I'm really loving antiqued gold or bronzey pieces for summer. I hope you liked this post, thank you for reading :)

HAUL: River Island and Peacocks

Hello bloglings. I must apologise for my lack of posts this past few days, I have been studying for a exam but i'm back now :) I also must apologise to those people who have been kind enough to post lovely comments on my posts. Thank you guys! For some reason it wont let me comment on my own post so im saying thank you here! Now for my rather small haul...

First off, I made a trip to River Island. I really like the RI bikinis for summer and i'd been eyeing up one particular one since last summer! So I eventually decided to get it, the photo makes it look more pink but infact its a really pretty coral colour.

As you can see from the close up image, the colour is gorgeous and the design is pretty roses :) the top was £16.99 and the bottoms were £9.99.
The top I got from RI has an Aztec type print on it, its quite unique but I really like it! It was £16.99 :)

Next I went to Peacocks and found some really nice shorts and a top...

These utility shorts are really in fashion this summer and they were only £12.50 so I couldn't resist! They would go well the Aztec print top from RI.

The top I got from Peacocks is actually a maternity top, but I really liked it so I decided to get it in a smaller size. It was a bargain at £7.00! It would look good off the shoulder :)

I hope you like my mini haul :)

MAKEUP TUTORIAL: Bronze summer goddess

This is a glowing, bronzed look; great for warm summer nights!

Firstly, I applied my Oilatum natural repair face cream then I used a small amount of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua in B10 beige pastel with my 190 foundation brush. I used my MAC studio finish concealer in NW20 to conceal any blemishes and then as an under eye concealer I used my Garnier eye roll-on in shade 01 with my Royal & Langnickel LG smudger brush. I powdered with my MAC mineralize skinfinish natural in light.

To prime my eyes I used my MAC paint pot in painterly.

Over that I used the light shimmery gold from my Sleek storm palette (the 2nd one in on the top row) across the lid with my Royal & Langnickel crease brush.

Then in the crease I used MAC omega eyeshadow and my Royal & Langnickel crease brush again to subtly define the crease.

In the outer corner I used Urban Decays smog and a big fluffy blending brush to create the bronze smokey effect.

After that I filled in my eyebrows with a medium brown eyeshadow and my MAC 266 brush.

I then applied two coats of my Bourjois volumizer mascara.

For eye liner I used AVON supershock gel eyeliner in black, I applied this to my water line and my tight line.

Then after deliberating for a while to whether I should use a highlight or not, I decided to add a matt white eyeshadow to my brow bone. I used my Royal & Langnickel mini flat smudge brush to apply it.

Then I contoured and highlighted my face with my Sleek contour kit in light.

I applied MAC ladyblush blushcreme with my 187 brush.

On my lips I applied a Natural Collection lipstick in rose petal with Revlon colorburst lipgloss in sunset peach over the top. Thats the look finished. :)

Hope you liked this look :)
